Hi parents! Welcome back to our site! Did you manage to enjoy a cup of milo made by your child last month? Let us know how it went in the comments section! In this month’s activity, we will be teaching our children how to make a Christmas card!
You will need the following materials for this activity:
1) Card template (download it
here)
2) Colour Pencils
3) Stickers
4) Blank papers
Here’s how you can carry out the activity:
Before we begin, you can download our card template and print it out first.
Step 1: Fold the card into half, and encourage your child to follow you.
Step 2: Using the colour pencils, trace the outline of the tree and stars and encourage your child to trace on their own as well.
Step 3: Follow the dotted lines and trace out the words. Allow your child to try on their own and provide hand on hand support when needed.
Step 4: Write a message inside the card. Encourage your child to try writing on their own and provide support if needed.
Step 5: Colour and design the front of the card!
For parents who are looking to carry this activity out in another way, you can use stickers to design the card instead of colouring them in. Alternatively, you can use the blank paper and draw in the design freehand. Be creative and have fun!
Try this activity with your child today and let us know in the comments section below how it went! Have an enjoyable time with your child!
