July Activity - Match the Utensils!

Hi parents! Welcome back to our site! Did your child enjoy matching the number of poms poms to the number shown on the card? Let us know how it went! In this month's activity, we will be doing the activity “Match the Utensils”. We will be matching utensils and placing them into the correct utensil's drawer compartment.

You will need the following materials for this activity:

1) Water
2) Towel
3) Utensils
4) Utensils Drawer

Here’s how you can carry out the activity:

Step 1: Parents, you will have to place the utensils in the water.

Step 2: Take out a utensil and hand it over to your child. Get your child to dry the utensil with the towel.

Step 3: Encourage your child to place the utensils back in the correct utensil drawer compartment by matching the utensils.

Step 4: Repeat the process with another utensil!

Some of you, parents may be looking for an extension of this activity, and here's a suggestion of what you can do! You can get your child to was the utensil with soap and water, before drying them and matching them. This way, your child will be able to help you with the washing up in future!
